Biggest Loss: David Robertson
Robertson, who was the Yankees closer this past year and the former Mariano Rivera set-up man, signed a four year deal worth $46 million with the White Sox back in December. Robertson, who was shutdown set-up man from 2011-2013, recorded at least 33 holds in each of those three seasons, while notching an ERA under 2.50. He closed for his first full year last year and recorded 39 saves while posting 3.08 ERA. The Yankees do have a pretty good replacement in Dellin Betances, but they are going to miss Robertson's consistency in the back end of their bullpen.
Biggest Acquisition: Chase Headley
Headley was dealt to the Yankees at last years trade deadline but tested Free Agency this off-season but eventually came back to the Bronx. The reason why I believe this was their biggest pick up because with Alex Rodriguez old and unable to play third on an every day basis, the Yankees got a good switch hitting, Gold Glove caliber third baseman. Headley can provide a spark in the middle of the Pinstripes line up.
This Yankees team is old and breaking down, therefor I don't think it's going to be a successful year for the Bronx Bombers.
Baseball is,was, and always will be the greatest game in the world
