Mike Trout has been a complete stud for the Los Angeles Angels over the past 3 years. The 23 year old hit 36 homeruns with 111 runs batted in to go along with a .287 batting average. He was named the AL MVP last season as the young stud keeps getting better. He was the number one overall fantasy player last season in all standard leagues. As Trout ages and gets more experience, the youngster will improve along with his fantasy value. If you get the chance to take Trout in your drafts, do not pass on him! He will not disappoint.
Andrew McCutchen has been a very solid fantasy player the past few years. In 2014 he hit 25 homers and had 83 runs batted in to go with a very impressive .314 average. McCutchen has been really getting the attention he deserves as his game has improved immensely. McCutchen ranked 3rd in outfielders in 2014 and number 5 overall. Watch this year as McCutchen keeps up these numbers and will help your team!
Giancarlo Stanton has been a freak the past few years. This past offseason the young stud signed a 13 year $325 million dollar contract for the Miami Marlins. Last season Stanton had a .288 batting average while knocking 37 balls out of the park to go with 105 runs batted in. He ranked number 2 in outfielders and 3 overall in all standard leagues. Stanton at age 25 and with the improvement of the Marlins will only get better. Stanton will be a 3rd or 4th overall pick, but can produce like a number 1 overall pick. Stanton is a freak and will definitely help out your team!
In 2014, Clayton Kershaw had a season like no other on the hill for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Last season Kershaw had a 1.77 ERA which is very impressive to go along with a 21-3 record. He also had 239 strikeouts. Kershaw was the number 1 ranked pitcher and number 2 overall last year in all standard leagues. Drafting Kershaw in the first round all comes down to if you want an ace in your lineup or would rather a top position player. Whether you draft Kershaw or any of the guys I named above, you can not go wrong.

Bust for the 2015 Season: Jose Altuve
My 2015 leading bust candidate for fantasy baseball is Jose Altuve. Last year Altuve was ranked #2 in all second basemen and ranked 12th overall. In my opinion, as bust does not necessarily mean a person has a bad season, but will he live up to expectations? Altuve is ranked 19 overall in fantasy baseball this year and I believe that is a little bit too high. With the Astros struggling lineup, how will Altuve produce? Altuve is good for his batting average and stolen bases, but the runs batted in will be what lacks in Altuve's fantasy value. I think grabbing Altuve in the second round is a bit too early, but if hes available in the third or fourth rounds definitely take a chance on the youngster.
